Sabine Nawrath – Drehbuch & Regie

Sabine Nawrath wird 1980 in Berlin Friedrichshain geboren. Nach dem Abitur arbeitet Sie bei der Deutschen Lufthansa als Flugbegleiterin auf allen interkontinentalen Strecken und bekommt so Eindrücke von Teilen der Welt die „normalen Touristen“ nicht offen steht. Daraus formt sich ihr offener und dennoch kritischer Blick auf Menschen und Situationen, der sich heute in ihren Filmen wieder findet.

Zunehmend wächst in ihr der Wunsch sich mit dem Medium Film auseinander zu setzen.

Das Praktikum in einem Castingbüro führt nach einiger Zeit zur Assistenz bei der Sie die Besetzung von Werbung und internationalen Kinofilmen mitgestaltet. 2002 beginnt Sabine ein Filmstudium an der University of the Arts in London.

2004 wechselt Sie zu einem Regiestudium an der Deutschen Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin wo sie seitdem Kurzfilme schreibt und inszeniert. Ihr Kurzfilm „Rukelie“ wird mit dem Prädikat besonders wertvoll ausgezeichnet. Es folgen zwei 5 minüter („Alle Türen offen“ & „Pediküre“) in Kooperation mit dem Sender arte und „achtzehn minus elf“.

Momentan schreibt Sabine an Ihrem ersten abendfüllendem Spielfilm.

 Franziska Jahnke – Drehbuch & Produktion

Franziska Jahnke wird 1980 in Berlin geboren. Sie wächst im Prenzlauer Berg auf. Als sie mit 16 als Komparsin in einem Musikvideo mitwirkt, ist sie fasziniert vom Zusammenspiel des Teams hinter der Kamera. Eine Begeisterung, die bis heute ungebrochen ist.
 
Bald darauf fängt Franziska an, neben der Schule als Produktionsassistentin in einer kleinen Berliner Produktionsfirma zu arbeiten. Hier sammelt sie erste Erfahrungen in Produktionsabläufen und im Bereich der Stoffentwicklung. Nach dem Abitur arbeitet sie als Castingassistenz und macht danach ein Praktikum in einer Werbefilmproduktion. Dadurch bekommt sie die Möglichkeit in diesen Bereichen als freie Mitarbeiterin zu arbeiten.
 
2001 wird sie an der Deutschen Film- und Fernseh-akademie Berlin für den Studiengang der Film-produktion angenommen. Während ihres Studiums (mit-)entwickelt und produziert Franziska zahlreiche, zum Teil preisgekröhnte Kurzfilme. So wird unter anderem der Film „abhaun!“ 2004 für den Deutschen Kurzfilmpreis nominiert und gewinnt den Goldenen Reiter des Filmfest Dresden, sowie den Short Tiger.
 
Seit 2006 arbeitet Franziska vorwiegend bei Langfilmprojekten, mittlerweile als Produktions-leiterin. Sie ist dabei ihren Arbeitsfokus neben der Produktion noch mehr in Richtung Drehbuch & Stoffentwicklung auszurichten.
Sabine Nawrath – Scriptwriter & Director

Sabine Nawrath was born in 1980 in Berlin Friedrichshain. After completing her Abitur (high school diploma), she worked for Lufthansa as a flight attendant for intercontinental flight routes and, in doing so, she was able to achieve first-hand impressions from parts of the world, to which "normal tourists" rarely gain access.

As a result of this, she formed open yet critical views of people and situations, which are recurrent in her films today. She felt increasingly driven to explore the medium of film and an internship with a casting agency led to her assisting casting for advertisements and international films.

In 2002, Sabine began a film course at the University of the Arts in London. In 2004, she transferred to studying directing at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin where she has written and directed short films to this day.

Her short film “Rukelie” was rated special merit. Two 5–minute films (“The world is my oyster” and “Pedicure”) followed in cooperation with the broadcaster Arte, as well as “eighteen minus eleven”.

At present, Sabine is working on her first feature-length film.

 Franziska Jahnke – Scriptwriter & Producer

Franziska Jahnke was born in 1980 in Berlin. She grew up in the district of Prenzlauer Berg. While working as an extra in a music video at the age of 16, she was fascinated by the interaction of the team behind the camera. A fascination which remains to this day.  

Short afterwards, Franziska began to work as a production assistant in a small Berlin production company, as well as studying at school. Here she gathered her first experiences of the production process and the development of content.

After completing her Abitur (high school diploma), she worked as a casting assistant and afterwards she undertook an internship with an advertising agency. As a result of this she was able to find work in this field in a self-employed capacity. In 2001, she was accepted into the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin, studying film production.

During her studies, Franziska developed and produced numerous short films, some of which went on to receive awards. Among others, the film “abhaun!” was nominated for the German short film prize in 2004 and won the "Goldener Reiter" at the Dresden Film Festival, as well as the Short Tiger.  

Since 2006, Franziska has mainly been working as an a location manager and as a line producer on feature film projects. She is currently expanding her focus in the field of scriptwriting & content development, in addition to production.

Kennen sich seit der sechsten Klasse. Wagen es 2003 zum ersten Mal ihre Freundschaft mit Arbeit zu kombinieren und stellen fest, dass ihr Vertrauen zueinander dort seine erfolgreiche Fortsetzung findet. Sie entwickeln gemeinsam Stoffe und realisieren Filme, seit 2008 auch im Image-, Veranstaltungs- und Produktbereich für die unterschiedlichsten Kunden.

They've known each other since the 6th grade and it was in 2003 that they dared to mix work and friendship for the first time, realizing that their trust in one another facilitated their continued success. Together they have developed content and realized films for a diverse range of clients, having also branched out into the fields of image production, events and product development since 2008.
